The Municipal Theatre Mladá Boleslav is a venue with a permanent ensemble preparing 6 - 7 new productions a year. Its repertoare ranges from Shakespearean tragedies to contemporary comedies, exclusively written for its actors by respected Czech writers. Almost every night (25 times a month) 350 seats of the beautiful Art Nouveau theatre building (built in 1909) are completely sold out. The number of actors in the company varies, but the theatre has 300 performances with a capacity of 350 in the large stage and 81 in the small stage.
