Laterna Magika introduced itself to the audience for the first time at EXPO 58 in Brussels. Since then, it has been active both on its mother stage in Prague and during numerous tours all over the world. Laterna Magika is a theatre with a secret of which is in the original connection of film picture and stage action. It also means that neither the picture nor the action on the stage have a meaning by themselves, because the same originates exactly by their connection. A continuous search for the new possibilities of this association is the fundamental of the creative efforts of Laterna Magika.
