DRAK Theatre gives its performances to the widest age category. From children attending kindergarten to grandfathers and grandmothers. Recently, the most favourite plays are performances for the whole families - when both the children and parents can be spectators together. DRAK Theatre plays 270 - 300 performances a year, one third from this number is played directly in Hradec Králové, and the remaining performances are given in the surrounding cities of the Czech Republic. DRAK Theatre is the home of the International Institute of Figurative Theatre, but from an artistic perspective the Institute is independent on a limiting aspect that continues to influence the artistic creation of routine theatre production. It is an activity that provides a meeting place for the DRAK Theatre and the Drama Faculty of the Academy of Dramatic Arts to meet artists, schools and theatres from abroad.
